Price risk 2.

The risk of an adverse change in the market value of a financial instrument or commodity due for example to changes in foreign exchange rates (foreign exchange risk), changes in market interest rates (interest rate risk), or changes in market prices (price risk).

In certain documents, the expression price risk refers to the risk that the market value of an instrument or commodity will fluctuate while the expression market risk refers more specifically to the risk of changes in the general level of prices in a market.
